Top of the Key: Draft Preview Spectacular

Grace and Thomas are back with a tournament wrap-up and draft preview. To start, they go through the Final Four and Finals games of the NCAA tournament. Dawn Staley is one of the great coaches of this era and maybe all time, Caitlin Clark is transcendent but had a shaky last couple games due to incredible defense, and they discuss The Call in the Iowa/UConn game. Next, they get into the WNBA Draft. First they discuss the obvious first overall pick, and discuss some of the discourse surrounding Clark and the WNBA players that some comments from players caused. They talk how she might fare in her first season and how she may adjust. They also discuss the rest of the first round, including a baffling late trade between the Sky and Lynx. Finally, they go into some other players of note and how the setup of the draft and league leaves a lot of talent on the outside looking in when the season starts. They also discuss some big post-tournament college news, with transfers, retirements, and the dissolution of the PAC 12 conference leading to misfortune for multiple programs.
