Top Seven Fateful Texts in the New Testament--Obey Rulers as God's Ministers

These texts, written under one of the most oppressive period of Roman Imperial history, are quite jarring in that they seem to whitewash the horrible injustices and cruelties of ancient rulers---from the Emperor of Rome to various Senatorial and Imperial provincial governors--on down the chain. They are ALL God's servants and ministers, and are to be obeyed and honored. These FATEFUL texts were subsequently used for centuries, even by Christian rulers, to subjugate their populations with the "divine rights of Kings" as their banner and God on their side!
