Fotograaf Robin de Puy koos als haar hoogtepunt een zwart-wit foto met daarop het vijftienjarige zwangere meisje Tiny. Waarom koos zij uitgerekend deze foto? En waarom is dit beeld zo beroemd geworden? 📷 De gekozen foto ‘Tiny pregnant with Daylon’ (1985) van de Amerikaanse fotograaf Mary Ellen Mark kun je hier bekijken. Mark volgde het meisje dertig jaar lang met haar camera: van tienerprostituee tot moeder met tien kinderen. 📽 Mark maakte samen met haar man Marc Bell de documentaire Streetwise (1984) over straatkinderen in Seattle.
