Topman DAF: laadinfra loopt ver achter

In een markt die krimpt en steeds concurrerender wordt, moet DAF knokken voor iedere order. Ondertussen doemen Europese CO2-doelstellingen op. Zit DAF op de goede weg? En hoe kijkt de topman naar de verduurzaming van zijn modelaanbod? Te gast is president-directeur Harald Seidel van DAF Trucks. De economische onzekerheid in de wereld is groot en raakt ook DAF. Transporteurs zijn voorzichtig om te investeren in nieuwe voertuigen, maar Seidel hamert op brandstofbesparing van de nieuwste generatie dieselvrachtwagens. 'Dat scheelt kosten.' DAF sluit voorlopig geen enkele aandrijflijn uit. Om de Europese CO2-reductiedoelstelling in 2030 te halen, moet de verkoop van zero-emissie trucks de komende jaren flink toenemen.
