Torbert Chooses Michigan Over Louisville | Louisville Football News

Louisville’s 2027 recruiting push took a major hit when top cornerback Monsanna Torbert Jr. flipped to Michigan, ending their late-season chase after losing another key target, Allen Evans to Vanderbilt. With over 30 offers and originally committed to Indiana before decommitting, Torbert was one of the nation’s elite cornerbacks — and Michigan’s official visits proved decisive. Despite Louisville’s strong late push and a solid 16-man class already in place, the loss stings, but the Cardinals remain in contention for the rest of the 2027 class.
