Tornado plows down trees near New Berlin

It’s official: An EF-1 tornado plowed through the New Berlin area last week. As a line of thunderstorms made its way eastward from Bexar County into western Guadalupe County, the twister was on the ground for about 5 minutes, according to the National Weather Service, which surveyed the damage May 27 after the weather cleared.
