The discussion then transitions into bunting as a viable way to counterattack the high velocities in pitching fastballs and extreme shifts. The guys also talk about the very few times it is ok to bunt the ball as both agree that it should be done in very small doses throughout the game. Talks then go into ballparks and what the guys look for when they walk into a new baseball stadium in terms of aesthetic-pleasing qualities. This topic was ignited when Austin retold of his time that he went to Oakland to catch an A's game and was very unimpressed with their ballpark. Also on the docket is how Major League Baseball's marketing campaigns differs with other major sports like NASCAR, the NFL, and the NBA as the guys try to explain why a player like the Miami Heat's Tyler Herro has more Instagram followers than Bryce Harper, Mike Trout, and Fernando Tatis Jr. and what MLB fails to do to push their best, individual players in order for them to have more crossover appeal into a mainstream audience.
