Guest Of The Week Janet Rehberg Is the National Mrs. Captivating 2020 with a platform focused on STEM education for girls that empowers the next generation of women. Empowering other women is Janet’s lifelong mission and has led her to be an influential member of the Women’s International Network of Utility Professionals (WiNUP) for over 15 years. In 2014, she served as the International President and introduced STEM education as the organization’s national philanthropic platform. As a female electrical engineer, she has had first-hand experience with the opportunities and challenges of working in a male dominated field. She has spoken to thousands of women and girls across the nation encouraging them to take on leadership roles with their school, work and community. As the National Mrs. Captivating 2020, she continues to deliver the important message that “women and girls excel in STEM fields”. Janet believes that you can only be the best version of yourself by helping others do the same. She is a graduate from The University of Tulsa with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. She is also a graduate from Capital University with a Master’s in Business Administration. Janet is a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a Certified Demand Side Manager (CDSM) and a Certified Emotional Intelligent (EQI) Coach. She is the Vice President of Engineering for Tri-County Electric Cooperative.
