Today's topic takes us back to 2009! Fourteen years ago, the world was taken by storm, and people flocked to the movie theaters in order to see what all the hype was about. James Cameron had created a movie, that not only was popular, but changed the way that many movies looked, at this point in movie history! We are of course talking about one of his most popular movies, Avatar! "On the lush alien world of Pandora live the Na'vi, beings who appear primitive but are highly evolved. Because the planet's environment is poisonous, human/Na'vi hybrids, called Avatars, must link to human minds to allow for free movement on Pandora. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paralyzed former Marine, becomes mobile again through one such Avatar and falls in love with a Na'vi woman (Zoe Saldana). As a bond with her grows, he is drawn into a battle for the survival of her world." Now, we might be in the minority, because I know that the world was on FIRE for this movie, but I'm not quite sure how excited we are for it. Now, just like with anything that we take in, we always recommend, that if somehow, you haven't seen it, that you go watch it.
