中東多個國家近年為了擺脫對石油的依賴，紛紛部署多元經濟發展計劃。行政長官李家超早前率團到訪卡塔爾和科威特，為內地和香港企業拓展機遇。 有在科威特石油行業工作的內地員工表示，隨著中國和科威特加強經貿合作，近年多了中國公司到當地擴充業務，提醒華人要尊重科威特文化，發揮所長、滿足當地需求。 有到當地創業多年的內地中文教師表示，近年不少年輕華人不適應科威特枯燥乏味的生活，建議企業多舉辦活動豐富員工的工餘生活，否則大家在簽證到期後都會離開。 記者仇志榮報道
