Residents have also reported shadow figures, moved objects, and unexplained activity. Finally, we explore Kirkstall Abbey, one of Leeds’ most haunted locations. Visitors report chanting voices, robed monks, shadowy figures, and sightings of a grieving woman known as Mary. Paranormal investigators have recorded EVPs, equipment failures, and eerie footsteps echoing through the ruins, reinforcing the abbey’s reputation for real paranormal activity. This episode features true paranormal stories, haunted UK locations, ghost sightings, poltergeist activity, residual hauntings, and chilling first-hand witness accounts from some of Leeds’ most haunted sites.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/haunted-uk-podcast-ghosts-paranormal-and-the-unexplained--6759967/support.

The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
