Tour Jailhouse Museum, second and fourth Saturdays

The Wilson County Jailhouse Museum is open to visitors on the second and fourth Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The 19th century building, located at 1140 C St. in Floresville, served as the county sheriff’s family residence as well as a jailhouse until 1974. Admission is a person for ages 13 and up; and free for those ages 12 and younger. Donations to support the museum can be made at the door or mailed to the Wilson County Historical Society at P.O.
