What is Toxic Love? How do we identify it? When is it too much? Toxic Love is the intense back and forth between highs of excitement and passion and intense lows of anxiety, depression. When we experience these types of relationships some times it’s very hard to identify because we are so caught up in the highs, that we fail to realize they bring us to the low state as well. Some signs we don’t take heed to when we see them are manipulation, how often is the person causing you to make a decision that you might not feel the need to do but since they implicated you tend to do it anyway? Lack of trust, you start to not trust your own decision and start to notice they have no faith in you. You’re constantly giving and not receiving anything in return, which becomes an all take, no give situation. Do you ever just feel drained after the conversation? Drained after being around the person? They constantly tell little white lies to keep the truth hidden. You start to make excuses or even start to lie for them to your friends and family to have them protected but you feel all the hurt. Congratulations you’re in a full-blown toxic relationship and you’re in a toxic love affair.
