Hi friends, Psyched you're here <3 This episode is one I've really wanted to make for a long time and I'm so happy it is out in the world. Today we're discussing toxic positivity and why it's a problem in our society. We're discussing what it is, what it looks like, why I personally think it's problematic, and what we can say to others instead of falling into toxic positivity. Not everything is peachy all the time and I'm here to tell you that that's 100% okay. Consider this a safe space to understand that life is grim sometimes, and we will be okay in the end. So much love and gratitude for you all and I will see you all very soon xoxo <3 - Ada Resources: Toxic Positivity: Keeping it real in a world obsessed with being happy By Whitney Goodman, LMFT: https://www.amazon.com/Toxic-Positivity-Keeping-World-Obsessed/dp/B097C91GH7/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2M6QVNXJTSMLR&keywords=toxic+positivity+whitney+goodman&qid=1654046089&sprefix=toxic+posi%2Caps%2C230&sr=8-1 Harry's Podcast!: Be Okay, Okay?
