TPOT Podcast Session 004: Dr David Hall on Learning From Failures in Private Practice

from The Practice of Therapy Podcast · host Gordon Brewer, MEd, LMFT: Therapist | Consultant | Writer | Speaker

Part of learning new things in private practice requires us to fail at different times in our careers.  In fact we do have to get outside our comfort zones to grow and learn.  In this episode Dr. David Hall talks about what he has learned about private practice not only through his successes, but from his failures. Dr. S. David Hall is a LMFT and LPC in practice in Knoxville, TN. He is the Executive Director of Haven Family Psychiatry, an outpatient psychiatric clinic in Knoxville. David is also the founder of the Narrative Institute, a continuing education group that puts on workshops and seminars, and is the head of business development and long-term strategic planning for Basis Health Group, a telepsychiatry practice providing services in multiple states.
