As a blended family with varying custody arrangements, we've always had odd scheduling for our holidays. The past few years we had our "Christmas" before the holiday, but this year we had it after. Between that change and our teenagers' increasing maturity and the rest of our family's unique ways of being, the holidays were as much of an adventure as you'd expect.
