TRACE | Roe v Wade

Our bodies, our choice, our voice. On Friday, June 24, 2022, in a chilling reversal of 50 years of established constitutional protection for abortion, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade, the landmark piece of legislation that made access to an abortion a federal right in the United States. It is a violation of women's rights, of human rights. #AnthemsRoevWade is a collection of 7 original manifestos, speeches, stories written and voiced by exceptional women in repsonse to the overturning of Roe v Wade. Your word of the day is TRACE: a mark, object, or other indication of the existence or passing of something. Anthems was created, sound designed and produced by Hana Walker-Brown. The artwork is by Ansso An. Dopo Dopo is an international co-operative of doulas, educators, artists, and advocates, on a mission to redefine how we experience and talk about abortion. https://www.wearedopo.com National Network of Abortion Funds https://abortionfunds.org Learn more about your ad choices.
