Track 16 - General Chit Chat
from TwinPodcast Hosted by TwinPodcast
Track 16 is a quite a laid back episode, as we have a conversation about recent events in music. We spark off the episode with speaking about how people take in the personalities of J Hus vs Stormzy. We also use the recent release of Mnelia’s ‘Say Yeah,’ to have a debate about the negative British attitude of identifying as a ‘fan’ of somebody. And after viewing G Eazy licking off Meg Thee Stallion’s face, we discuss the double standards that exist inside music between Male and Female rappers. And we end the episode by briefly touching on the exposure of subtle racism from the coronavirus outbreak. Denzel’s Top Picks: Luke James - all of your love, Anderson Paak - Trippy ft J Cole, Sampha - What Shouldn’t I? Lexus’ Top Picks: Mahalia - Simmer ft Burna Boy, SIR - D’evils, Daniel Caesar - Cyanide (Remix) ft Koffee Twitter: @_twinpodcast @quoteKwame @crysus_ Instagram: @supermalt_papi @cry.sus
