Track 38 - 24/8

"Kobe Bryant Nikes, purple gold strings Kobe in the game dunking on your team Black Mamba, attack conquer Basketball beast, rap monster Crossover good, a turnaround jumper Or just drive in the lane and dunk on dunkers You know where it's going, it's goin' down, yo This is the Lakeshow, but don't drown though I call him King Bryant, now let the crown show" - Lil Wayne— After a brief convo where we make fun of the Roc Nation brunch we get into our conversation about Kobe. Track 38 starts on a somber note as we discuss the tragic and unexpected loss of Kobe and Gianna Bryant. We discuss Kobe’s career, influence, and overall impact on the culture and the world. We follow that up, on a lighter note, by touching on his short lived hip hop career and other athletes who attempted the same thing(for better or for worse). Rest In Peace to Kobe and Gianna Bryant, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Christina Mauser, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester, and Ara Zobayan. Prayers to their friends and family.
