Trade & All-Star Candidates

from Giant Cocktails: A San Francisco Giants Baseball Podcast

It's the Luiz Arraez episode! The boys react to the series win against the Braves before breaking down possible All-Star candidates (Luis Arraez!) and snubs (Casey Schmitt! Jung Hoo Lee!?). After that brief discussion they move to trade talk. Besides Arraez and Ray, is there anyone else the Giants could move?On the cocktail side of things, today Matthew is drinking a Betty Carter while Ben is drinking a Some Days are Diamonds (Some Days are Stones). Recipes belowBetty Carter1 1/2 oz Bourbon3/4 oz Sweet Sherry (Pedro Ximenez)1/2 oz Amaro Nonino3/4 oz Lemon JuiceShake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Some Days are Diamonds (Some Days are Stones)2 oz brandy2-4 oz Lemon-Lime soda (Shasta Twist for that local flavor!)1/2 oz dark rumAdd brandy to an empty highball glass. Add ice nearly to the top. Top gently with the lemon-lime soda and then float the rum on top. Do not stir! Let this cocktail evolve as you drink it. (You can pour the rum onto a spoon and let it trickle into the glass or you can carefully pour the rum onto a protruding piece of ice.)#doitforwilson
