Trade Central

from Icey Takes · host Dave Miller

The boys are back and introduce the show, themselves then jump straight into trades that already happened in the NL East, where the New York Mets acquired Starting Pitcher Marcus Stroman off of the Toronto Blue Jays (0:00-13:00), then Jeff and Big Dave discuss the other move the Mets made, moving Starting Pitcher Jason Vargas to the Philadelphia Phillies (13:00-22:00). After that the guys talk about Max Scherzer going on IL and where that puts the Washington Nationals in their plans for the deadline (22:00-30:00), then the guys talk about what the Tampa Bay Rays should do after the successful surgery on Blake Snell (30:00-36:30) and how the surprising San Francisco Giants should go about the trade deadline (36:30-46:30). Potential trade piece and Starting Pitcher Trevor Bauer blew a fuse on the mound, so Jeff and Big Dave discussed how much that diminished his trade value on a team that could win the division (46:30-55:20) and then the guys list 6 names and potential landing spots for those players while making predictions of where they will move, if they do get traded (55:20-1:10:30). The guys wrap up the show highlighting a trade that happened in the NHL between the Vegas Golden Knights and the New Jersey Devils and then wrap up the show with their MVP's of the week (1:10:30-1:15:41).
