I 2018 kolliderede den norske fregat Helge Ingstad med et tankskib under en natlig forlægning, og fregatten sank som følge af skaderne. Efterfølgende har havarirapporten fra de norske myndigheder konstateret at træthed var en medvirkende årsag til forliset, og det anbefales at det norske søværn indfører et system til registrering af hviletid. Lignende overvejelser går man med i US Navy, hvor kollisionerne med USS Fitzgerald og USS John S. McCain i 2017 kostede 17 soldater livet. Også i disse kollisioner spillede træthed en rolle. Er mangel på søvn også et problem i det danske søværn? Det er emnet for denne episode af Krigskunst Podcast.
