One of the latest projects moving into the construction phase is a new traffic signal at the intersection of Desert Greens and Smith Enke Road. Construction is expected to begin in early June at the intersection located just west of Porter Road. Over the past several years, growth in nearby neighborhoods and businesses has led to a noticeable increase in traffic volumes in the area, creating a greater need for traffic control improvements.
