Tragedy Strikes Windergate Drive | Jacksonville News

A horrific fire tore through a Jacksonville townhome early this morning, claiming the lives of three young boys and leaving two children and two adults in critical condition. The family, from Albania, were asleep when flames erupted on Windergate Drive — neighbors rushed to save a baby and an adult who leapt from a second-story window. Firefighters contained the blaze by 5:40 AM, but the home and two adjacent units were destroyed. The American Red Cross is now helping seven adults and six children displaced by the tragedy. Authorities are investigating the cause, while first responders and the community mourn the devastating loss. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
