Tragedy, Trauma, and Trust Developing the Discipline to Carry Others | JP Dinnell Podcast 083

from JP Dinnell Podcast · host JP Dinnell, Lucas Pinckard

In this episode of The JP Dinnell Podcast, JP and Lucas sit down for the most raw, unfiltered conversation they've ever had. Over the course of one week, they faced a series of unimaginable events—a tragic death, a violent murder, and a spiritual confrontation with evil. In the midst of it all, they were forced to lead others, support their families, and show up when everything inside them wanted to break. This episode isn't about tactics or strategy. It's about faith in the fire, the burden of leadership, and what it means to carry others through darkness when you yourself are hurting. 🔥 What You'll Hear in This Episode: ✅ How to lead when you're grieving ✅ What it looks like to trust God in chaos ✅ The weight of spiritual warfare and real evil ✅ Why discipline matters most when you're emotionally drained ✅ The responsibility of being the one others lean on ✅ How to keep showing up for your people when you have nothing left ✅ How leaders process trauma while continuing to lead This isn't just another leadership episode—it's a testimony of pain, pressure, and perseverance. If you've ever had to lead through loss, or stand strong in the storm for others, this episode will meet you right where you are. 👊 Who This Is For: ✔️ Men carrying heavy responsibilities—at work, at home, in faith ✔️ Leaders walking through loss or spiritual battle ✔️ Anyone feeling the weight of being "the strong one" ✔️ Those seeking truth, hope, and clarity in chaos ✔️ Believers who want to see how faith and leadership intersect in real life 💥 This Is What Leadership Looks Like in Real Life This isn't a highlight reel. It's the painful, sacred reality of what it means to be a leader when everything around you falls apart. No clichés. No easy answers. Just truth.
