Tragic Hit-and-Run Claims Young Life | Miami News

A heartbreaking hit-and-run in Northwest Miami-Dade claims the life of 10-year-old Peyton, while her brother fights for his life. Witnesses describe chaos as a child on a bike was struck at the intersection of NW 7th Ave and NW 117th St. The community gathered the next day to honor Peyton with toys, flowers, and balloons — as the family pleads for privacy. Authorities are hunting a silver or gray Nissan Versa (2009–2012) and urge anyone with info to come forward. One witness says turning yourself in is the only way to bring closure — and peace — to this grieving family. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
