Tragic Triple Homicide in Apartment Complex | Las Vegas News

A chilling triple homicide unfolded Tuesday night when a 29-year-old man allegedly murdered his girlfriend and her two children before turning himself in. The victims — a woman in her 40s, her teen daughter, and a young son — were found in an apartment complex on OBannon Drive. Neighbors, shaken by the tragedy, described the family as kind and familiar, especially to parents who watched the kids play. The suspect, Juan Orona, faces three counts of murder and was treated for a superficial gunshot wound — possibly self-inflicted. As authorities investigate further, community members mourn the loss while sounding alarms about domestic violence’s devastating toll on families. Orona is set to appear in court Thursday morning.
