We sat down with Trail Women BK to hear all about the positive impact they are making on the trail running community in and around New York City! Olivia O'Neill, Elise Mordos and Trisha Ignatowski are the fearless leaders of TWBK and are committed to increasing female participation in trail running! You can learn more about TWBK on their website https://www.trailwomenbk.com/ and on social media: https://www.instagram.com/trailwomenbk/ Made by women, for women. Inclusive of all genders. Trail Women BK hosts group trail runs in the NYC area at least once a month. We focus on choosing trail locations that are accessible via public transit to limit the costs for our attendees and also make it easily accessible to anyone who wants to join. All runs are free and open to the public (inclusive of all genders). Our primary goal is to create a welcoming, supportive and fun environment in the hopes of encouraging more females to run on trails and increase female participation in trail races and ultramarathons.
