from Porch Light: Conversations with Amikaeyla Hosted by Amikaeyla
Some places you go to be fixed. This isn't one of them. Porch Light is where Amikaeyla makes a porch — wherever she is, whoever you are, whatever kind of day you're having. Good, hard, unremarkable. All of it gets a chair. She's spent her life using sound to move what words can't reach, and she's bringing that here: long conversations with people who've lived what they're talking about, a song in the middle, something to eat, something to think about on the way out. You don't have to arrive together. You don't have to have language for it yet. You can just sit here a minute. Porch Light. Conversations with Amikaeyla. The light's on.
