Trailer: Manuela Sáenz

Here’s the trailer for this week’s episode of Unruly Figures! Manuela Sáenz was an influential and brave revolutionary in Spanish America in the early nineteenth century. She was a lover of Simón Bolívar as well as a political force in her own right. The legacy she leaves for feminists around the world is fascinating, and I’m really excited to be covering her.
