from Sana Sana · host Eileen Lopez-Tome
Welcome to the Sana Sana podcast! These conversations have been on my heart for a long time, because this is what I needed 10 years ago when I was first diagnosed. I am a first-generation Cuban-American woman, eldest daughter, wife, working mother of five, and breast cancer survivor. When I first received my cancer diagnosis, I felt terrified and alone. I had a wonderful medical team that saved my life, but I had no idea who to turn to besides them. I needed more than the external, physical healing the medical industry offered me. I needed to talk to someone with firsthand experience, someone who could give me a safe space to feel all my emotions, and someone who would understand the nuances of also being Latina with this devastating diagnosis. Sana Sana is dedicated to supporting Hispanic and Latina breast cancer survivors who have always been the “strong ones” and now feel lost in their identity after cancer diagnosis. I will share the foundation of my EcoSystem of Healing™️ coaching process, which I use to help my clients restore trust in their bodies, release perfectionism, advocate for themselves, and live from a place of healing and peace rather than survival. However you found this show, you're supposed to be here. Follow Sana Sana wherever you listen, and share it with one hermana who needs it. Sana sana, hermana. We’ll talk soon!
