My role not only includes teaching over 500 students in my school, but also developing standards-based curriculum, leading professional development and coaching teachers to help them integrate STEM &amp; Technology. When I first got started as a K-5 STEM teacher, I was given a brand-new space, a variety of tools and zero curriculum. Over time, I was able to build a foundation for this space that is rooted in systems and routines, test out those tools, and develop an engaging curriculum that uses a combination of STEM topics. Like so many elementary teachers who are getting started with STEM, I needed someone who has paved the way and share their experiences to help with my innovation journey.
