Train Cancellations Just Got Easier | Belfast News

Starting this Sunday, train travelers in the UK won’t be stranded if their train cancels—thanks to a new government policy letting you hop on another operator’s service within two hours, using your original ticket at no extra cost. This common-sense change, backed by Rail Minister Lord Peter Hendy, aims to eliminate the hassle of buying new tickets or waiting for refunds, and is part of a broader push to simplify rail travel before Great British Railways launches. Operators including CrossCountry, GWR, Avanti West Coast, and Chiltern Railways are now participating—with East Midlands Railway joining soon. Passenger advocates are thrilled, calling it a major win for travelers who rely on the rail network. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
