Trainer to Trainer Session #1

Trainer to Trainer I am so excited about this new series where we have an opportunity to hear from the people who have worked on their skills , not only as a hairdresser , but a trainer as well. Did you know that hairdresser skill sets and Trainer skills sets are comprised of different skills ? Just because I can execute wonderful hairdressing results behind the chair , does not mean I will be a great educator ! There is a huge difference between “sharing” and “training” In this series we hope to offer insight into what it takes to be a successful trainer and some perceptions and challenges all trainers share. So , if you desire to be an educator , want to improve your training skills, or need a place to find out that you are not the only person who faces challenges when it comes to facilitating a successful class , this might be a series you want to listen to. We begin our series with Anthony Presotto from Queensland Australia. A long time friend and mentor to me Anthony has an extensive history , as a Salon owner , educator for several hair color companies , a prolific author of articles & books , not only on hair color , but also hairdressing , hair design , and self improvement. I am sure you will find him delightful , engaging , and a valuable resource for knowledge , strategies , and behaviors to help us all chart our path to success.
