Training And Activism Week Wrap-Up

from Rock For Life Netcast · host Rock For Life

Featured Band: Auburn News & Commentary: Last week saw hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers nationwide take part in marches and vigils remembering the lives lost through abortion.  The largest one - the annual March for Life - brought a massive crowd to Washington, D.C. only two days after 2 million individuals packed the city for the Inauguration of President Barack Obama. San Francisco was host to another large march, as over 30,000 pro-life advocates took part in the fifth annual Walk for Life West Coast.  The WFLWC crowd increases with each passing year, and the number of counter-protesters in the city known for its abortion advocacy has dwindled from 5,000 to 100.  In fact, two of the three cities that have passed resolutions declaring themselves "pro-choice cities" are near San Francisco – Santa Cruz and Berkeley.  The third, West Hollywood, is in Los Angeles. We have a new president, and he has wasted no time in making sure that Planned Parenthood's wish list is fulfilled.  He struck down the Mexico City Policy, which states that an organization must "agree as a condition of their receipt of federal funds" that they would "neither perform nor actively promote abortion as a method of family planning in other nations."  This means we are all supporting – via tax dollars – the killing of preborn children in other nations. Congresswoman and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said something interesting about population control being cheaper in the end run...we dissect her comments. Feature: In the second half of the show, we interview share our experiences from last week's March for Life and Training and Activism event.
