The scalable compute power of the cloud has placed Machine Learning in the spotlight of what's now possible with Big Data. The evolution of cloud computing — with readily accessible and ever-increasing pools of resources such seemingly endless affordable cloud storage — has opened the door to new possibilities that would have been impossible both financially and technically to most individuals and companies just a few years ago. But computer processors and technology only represent part of the picture.
