Training Picks up as Season Opener Nears - Episode #56

Emerald Downs Opening Day for 2022 is Sunday, May 15. The daily worktab is building toward the start of season #27 in Auburn. Guest Jon White has been a prominent Kentucky Derby historian and handicapper for several decades. Dan Jukich of Hastings Park speaks to the recent passing of Glen Todd. Todd, an owner, trainer, breeder, benefactor, sales purchaser and promoter, had been the single largest figure in B.C. Thoroughbred racing for the past 30-plus years. Also very prominent at Emerald Downs, Todd won the 2012 Longacres Mile with Taylor Said.
