She is also a senior dharma teacher in Shambhala International. Her books are Dakini's Warm Breath:  The Feminine Principle in Tibetan Buddhism (Shambhala), Benedict’s Dharma:  Buddhists Comment on the Rule of St. Benedict (Riverhead), and Meditation and the Classroom:  Contemplative Pedagogy in the Religious Studies Classroom (SUNY).
