Trans Rights Protests Across the Country, the US Military to Investigate "Symptoms" of Being Trans, and Lesbian Penguins!

It’s getting whackadoodle out here but there’s things to look forward to — like Vico taking over our Instagram today! So head over there for some thirst traps. (Not a guarantee but an educated guess.) This Wednesday, we’ve got trans rights protests popping up in Texas and Maine! Texas, which has the second largest population of LGBTQ adults in the country, showed out in Dallas in response to the flood of anti-LGBT legislation. In Cumberland, Maine, hundreds gathered at a local high school that has been in the national spotlight since a State Representative posted about a trans athlete (a minor!) on Facebook. Protesters marched in support of trans students and the broader trans community, and reminded us that this is not the generation of students you want to be stepping to.The U.S. Military continues its transphobic crusade by now investigating “symptoms” of being trans. We don’t know how many times we gotta say it but queer or not, this will affect you! Gender dysphoria can look like so many things, and even cis, straight folks can experience it. So, this is a developing story categorized under “f**k around and find it.”Finally, we’re talking gay animals. And it’s not the trans mice — it’s even better! Two lesbian penguins at the Newport Aquarium in Kentucky went viral in a TikTok video showing Green Bean (the giver, obviously) gifting her mate Randi a toy ball for their nest. The jokes write themselves so we don’t gotta do it for you. But it’s like one TikTok commenter said: “It’s against nature! Meanwhile, nature:”Nay and Vico also share their funny first nightmare stories; Nay learned this podcast spans generations; and Vico’s supporting safe sluts — which, again, should be a reminder to visit our Instagram.
