Although there was no pro racing to speak of anywhere in the States, we headed to Glen Helen Raceway in Southern California and joined our fellow Vet Class warriors for two days of racing at the Trans Am Vet Classic. An event that caters to the aged and experienced rider with a unique track, full gates, and awards, the Trans Am Vet Classic is one of our favorite times of the year. Our resident Clydesdale Class competitor Dominic Gaytan filled us in with details of what it was like to spin laps on the track while Chase Curtis recapped the bar to bar battles he witnessed from the infield. After a half-hour of chatting about the weekend, we turned our attention to the latest developments in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship and Monster Energy FIM Motocross World Championship, two series that are still feeling the effects of the COVID-19 closures.
