# RICOH GR IV THOUGHTSSO just returned my GR MONOCHROME on amazon to test just the regular GR IV. The good news is, I am actually insanely pleased! ## Which So technically… After scrutinizing over the files… The truth is that the GR monochrome does look for superior in terms of black-and-white image rendition. It’s like insanely magical.GR IV has superior monochrome performance I think compared to the GR 3… but still is not as sharp or contrasty or magical as the GR IV monochrome. So if black-and-white is your jam just go monochrome!But if you want to shoot color photos… GR IV seems to be the best bet.
