Guest Preacher Rev. Lynice Pinkard joins us on Transfiguration Sunday to share her powerful vision of transfiguration with us. Rather than intellectualizing about the transfiguration, she shares from her own embodied wisdom and lived experience as a pastor and spiritual director about what it means to truly love, see, and recognize one another in ways that bring about newness. Rev. Lynice Pinkard is a pastor, teacher, writer, activist, movement chaplain and spiritual director. Her work is dedicated to decolonizing the human spirit and to freeing people from what she calls "empire affective disorder." Rev. Lynice, recently moved from Oakland, CA, and now lives with her wife in Efland, NC."
