Transitioning from Sobs to a Song (Habakkuk 2 & 3)

What do we do when life doesn’t make sense, when our prayers seem unanswered, and when everything we fear appears to be coming true? Habakkuk begins his journey asking God, “How long?” But as he remembers who God is and what God has done, his fear gives way to faith. Even when the crops fail, the fields are empty, and the future looks hopeless, he can still say, “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will be joyful in God my Savior.”This message reminds us that faith doesn’t mean pretending everything is okay. It means trusting that God is good, sovereign, faithful, and present—even when we cannot understand what He is doing.The righteous shall live by faith. God is able to give us peace, joy, and strength for whatever lies ahead.
