Transparency and accountability of public money

Education is NOT a commodity.Two basic enlightened principles are at risk. 1) Every child born has the right to a free, secular and universal education that is offensive to none, so that the electorate has INFORMED voters 2) Separation of Church and State- the result of 400 years of bloodshed and it's a tragedy to see billions of tax-payers dollars going back into a system, which is alive and well in our so-called democracy, that is in fact ANTI-DEMOCRATIC, and that is the RELIGIOUS SCHOOL SYSTEM, the largest proponent of which is the Catholic School System The Australian Council for the Defence of Government Schools - the DOGS -  www.adogs.info
