Y'all-itics
WFAA
Y’all-itics is the unofficial political podcast of Texas. Each week we’ll crack open an ice-cold Texas brew and explore a single hot topic affecting Texans. But this isn’t politics as usual. Y’all-itics doesn’t come from a fancy studio. We’re taking our podcast on the road to get past the soundbites and dive deeper into the issues that matter to y’all. Leave your labels at the door, this is a political podcast for all Texans… even the recent transplants!
City Cast Nashville
City Cast
Join Rachel Iacovone and the City Cast Nashville team every weekday morning as we bring you the day's can't-miss conversation about life in Music City. With the help of local journalists, artists, activists, experts, and everyday residents, we explore this promising, frustrating, still-sorta-small town, where old bumps up against new, natives adapt to transplants, and everybody struggles to navigate the ‘Binge Drinking Tourism Industrial Complex’ that threatens to consume us all. Alongside our daily newsletter, we cover the news and culture of our endlessly growing city from every perspective we can find — including yours. It’s like a backyard barbecue and the whole town’s invited, so whether you’ve lived here for a blink or a lifetime, we hope you’ll pull up a lawn chair and sit a while. Queens Out of Doors
Queens Out of Doors
Besides being the most ethnically diverse urban area in the world, Queens offers tens of thousands of open acres with an array of landscapes and outdoor activities. Join me as we explore the 178 square miles of this great New York City borough! Who am I? My name is Shari and after being raised in northwest Indiana, I headed to NYC in 1988 and haven’t looked back! I first lived in Manhattan (as most transplants do!), then Brooklyn, and since 1998 I’ve been a proud Queens resident. It’s home. It’s also where I began exploring urban nature. I was always that kid digging in the garden or watching insects in the backyard, but after moving to Queens, I became more and more fascinated with the outdoors in urban areas. Join me as we explore the wealth of outdoor opportunities and adventures in this great county! Questions? Suggestions? I’m all ears! Contact me at [email protected]
