Michael and Professor Antweiler talk about the infrastructure needed to implement sustainable transportation, as well as sources of electricity. They tackle challenges to decarbonization, technological innovations, market-driven solutions, carbon pricing, international policy, and barriers to infrastructure for charging electric cars. They discuss the role of government, utilities, grid loads, time of use pricing, and critical peak pricing. They touch on alternatives to car ownership, the social costs of driving, and how we can all get involved when it comes to getting sustainable transportation.
