Episode 78 Everyone’s experience is different within corporate America. I just had a different experience where I was not seen or heard or valued, which is very difficult because when you give your heart to your job, and you work very hard and take pride in what you do [you get discouraged when invisible]. There are people that unfortunately become part of a corrupt atmosphere, and it's a very, very difficult place to find yourself in. And then you have the house and the kids and all of these things that incredibly important that you need to take care of all of these responsibilities, and you sort of feel trapped. You know that you're being mistreated or devalued, or manipulated, and you know in your heart it's not right and it shouldn't happen, and it happens all the time. And that's what led me to this journey of finding purpose and greater connections, more meaningful relationships, and people that I could depend on and grow with throughout my life.
