Welcome to Episode 111!  Apparently this week 1 is a lucky number for Painted Trash!  The summer of 2022 is officially underway and The Boys are kicking off in style and living for Pride Month in the City.  They took a break from the festivities and catch up on the happenings this week with some tasty port vintage, so grab some for you and get ready-- 'cause here we go!

In this week's Midsection, Casey is sharing about his week which included the return of one of his favorite summer activities and some outings with Miss Jeffrey.  Mark is sharing about the need for a down and chill weekend before the summer gets into full swing next week and how did he spend it?  Well - you'll have to listen to know.

Next up in the Mid-Section this week, The Boys are reflecting on a summer tradition, especially for a "city gay", the return of Street Festivals.  In Chicago, it's been a couple of years since traditional street festivals have been in full swing, but the Summer of 2022 looks like the tradition returns.  What are Mark & Casey's favorite (and/or least) activities to be found at a fest?  What is a street festival (for those who haven't heard of or been to one)?  Do's and don'ts and other other advice.  The Boy are filling you in and of course, in bright color, painted conversation.

Then it's on to Trash Talk!  This week Casey is giving us a final update on the Depp-Heard trial now that Judge Penny's jury has rendered a verdict.  For many, it seems, this case as further divided us as a society-- so much so the NY Times has written an article about what the decision means for #metoo.  After that, Mark is spilling the tea about a Reality Television family which also found themselves in court.  What for and what happened?  Check out this week's segment to find out.  Next, Casey is spilling the tea about a new bill Texas State Legislature (House of Representative) rushed to the floor just days after the school shooting that saw many 21 lives ended by murder; but the bill has nothing to do with that. What did it have to do with?? Take a listen!  Then finally, The Boys have some thoughts on the recent announcement Scream 6 will move forward but without it's franchise stalwart (and original SSssssTAR)!

Finally in this week's recommendations (or wreck-o-mendations), Mark is serving up a newly released gay film now streaming at the height of Pride Month.  Then Casey is touting a whole streaming service in a first time service recommendation.

This one's got a bit of something for everyone -- family, friends, movies, pop culture, punditry, hilarity, celebs, pop culture and more!  So grab your brushes, a canvas, those bright summer paints, and fill your glass because it's time to paint on an all new Painted Trash!
