Gina Naumov has had her counseling business, New Start Counseling, LLC. since 2011 and is President/ CEO of New Start Groups which is a non-profit organization 501c3 that offers free workshops to Teens, Young Adults, Adults, and Adults Restorative Yoga since 2022!Gina Naumov discusses why she became a Licensed Professional Counselor, and they discussed Gina was a survivor of child abuse, and how mental health care issues were not discussed back in the '70s, '80s, and even the '90s! Gina discussed her counseling business and how Gina became involved with the Woodbridge Police Department for the Juvenile Station House Adjustment Program.We also discussed how trauma affects us even in our adult lives, the stigma surrounding mental healthcare issues, and why Gina started a Non-profit organization to help people be in a safe environment to discuss issues such as trauma, grieving, mindfulness, head and body connections, social anxiety and so much more.Gina Naumov has a passion for helping others and would like people to know about New Start Groups.
