Healing is hard for everyone, but it is particularly hard when you are wired to avoid emotional pain. Angie takes us on her journey of continued healing, despite every part of her wanting to run and do and ignore the trauma that demands her attention.Angie shares with us a treatment modality and exercise known as the "trauma egg"--you can find the pdf and more information here. This was an effective tool for her to inventory the traumas that still haunted her and affected her behaviors, some self sabotaging. The core fear of the enneagram seven is essentially being trapped in emotional pain. Well known enneagram coach Beth McCord provides a great tool for understanding core fear here.
